A fun place for adults 50 years and up.
Each week the Center is used by hundreds of people from the County, including members and non-members, for activities, events, classes, meetings and gardening.
The activities include:
Book Club, Drawing and Watercolor, Nineties Club, Photography, East Coast Swing Dance Lessons, International Folk Dancing, Waltz Dance Lessons, Modified Yoga, Senior Physical Fitness,Tai Chi, Bingo, Bridge, Canasta, Dominoes, Mah Jongg, Ping Pong, Pinochle, Scrabble, Gardening and Gift Shop.
The events include:
Ranch Breakfast on the 4th Sunday of each month
Big Band Dance on the 2nd Friday of each month
DanceLand on the 4th Friday of each month
Choraliers Musical Show on the 3rd Sunday afternoon of every other month
Weekly Tuesday night dinner and entertainment and
Garden potluck BBQ on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from May through September.
Various groups, such as dancing and dog training classes, rent the Center. It is also rented for conferences and social events including anniversaries, memorial services, birthdays and weddings. See *Rentals*
MCSC is the meeting place for substance abuse programs seven days a week. It is a distribution site for the Grey Bears Brown Bag Program every Friday and the Project Scout Tax Counseling for the Elderly Program.
