Handcrafts/Gift Shop knitting

Handcrafts/Gift Shop Group * 11:30 am - 2:30 pm * Thursdays * Main Hall

Drop in to our Thursday meeting and meet the ladies. You will always be welcome. And bring your lunch! Learning to make something with your hands is so satisfying and seeing your creation being purchased is always a thrill.
Our group creates beautifully handcrafted items, everything from hats and scarves to adult sweaters, baby layettes and our famous hand-knitted socks. Finished projects are donated to the gift shop. The sale of these items help support the MCSC activities.
Do you want to learn or refresh your handcraft skills? We can help you with one-on-one instructions and advice. And because we receive generous donations of yarn, fabric, knitting needles, crochet hooks, thread and other things, we can usually supply you with what you need to get you started. There is no charge for our help. But we always hope you will find the friendly faces around the table incentive enough to return and be part of the group.

Donations of craft materials or supplies will gladly be accepted on Thursdays, 11:30 am - 2:00 pm.
